Honesty is a lonely word

The prospect of living under one roof this year has now gone down the drain.
Hubs called in the wee hour last night, and i remembered how vestiges of sleep left me the minute he told me the news. His transfer had been rejected.

I didnt hide my dissapointment though hubs disclosed last night's conversation with a new prayer.
 
Overcame with bitterness, i felt way weary to renew my hopes for the near years to come.  My good friend Tek, has gone through worse. Thus seeing her struggle getting the transfer,  i dont have much faith for ours . Don't mean to sound so pessimistic.  But hopes can be paralysing sometimes. I also remember Tek's efforts- going through a lot, climbing the stairs of KPM n JPN n even the respective schools she hoped to be trabsfered to (apart from filling the app form), years after years,  but all were in vain.  It totally blew me off.  When we do it in honest-to-god ways to get what we want, people dont value it. They dont even take our difficulties into consideration. They would rather we go by the back door before they could really approve what we want. Seriously, our people are so corrupted with the culture of 'cable' & 'connection' that they became blinded with what's suppose to be just.  It's plain unfair okay.

Frustrated tahap cipan, though i thought i've prepared myself for this. But then again...(insert super-long pause). And i thought i should just say no more.  Words are not to be wasted on those who dont comprehend honesty.
